A mini biography of my life. What I did, some problems, etc. This might be interesting to you, or it could be extremely boring. Whatever works..
My name's Judy and I'm currently 15 years old living in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. I was born on February 04, 1991 at St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. I lived there for 4 days only then moved to good ol' Brantford. Brantford, known as the "Telephone City" because Alexander Graham Bell lived here and invented it while he did live here. Also, famous for the one and only Wayne Gretzky. Anyways, enough about Brantford and more about me...
I basically lived my whole life in Brantford. Here, it can get pretty boring. As I was younger though, I remember living in the neighbourhood around a lot of people. I had so many friends and there was a small park near-by. Use to go with them all the time. We usually wait everyday until the ice cream person came around our block, and with our parents sometimes giving us a buck or two, we usually only spent it on ice cream and popsicles. Well, on hot days of course. Winter, I use to help my parents shovel the driveway. I was such a cute, content little child and LOVED school.
Time passed by, and this was my second time moving into a new house - more like an apartment with 2 rooms. My parent's were always such a money-saver and I respect their decision. We didn't even live that long in an apartment anyways. It was horrible. 2 rooms, one for my parents, and one for me and my other 2 sisters. It was crowded, clustered, and not comfortable. But before we moved, we went to visit the United States for a while. Kansas to be exact. We stayed there for about 4 months too! It was amazing. I even got the chance to go to an American Elementary School. A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT THAN I IMAGINED. The recess time is different from other classes and every morning after the announcement, the teacher would ask me if I want it hot or cold. Me, being my young age was all confused and didn't know what the heck she was talking about until she mentioned Lunch. Haha, and for a second, I thought I got my lunch for free, but it seems that my parents paid like a deposit or so.
The first day at a school in Kansas was pretty weird. I'm a shy girl so I didn't have the guts to make friends and plus, I missed my sisters already. They were in different classes, and in different recess times. Didn't even get to see them after school. I met some people on my first day though, but I hardly talked. I wasn't very friendly anyways... So, after only a month at that school, we came back to Brantford Ontario where I seen all my old friends! I was so happy and told them about Kansas and shit. Haha. AND THEN, we moved again. Actually, not that far though, just down the street where my grandparent's lived. LOL, isn't that funny. Now living with my grandparents also. Bigger space though. So it wasn't that bad.
My grandpa used to give me his change all the time so I could go to the store across the streets and get something sweet for me. My parents went back down to the U.S for sometime and so, I got $5 everyday on a school day to buy lunch. Wow, I was like 8 years old with $5 everyday. How pretty sweet was that? Haha, and you know what I spent it on? ...MCDONALDS. Or actually, the dollar store where I buy a bunch of diaries and stickers and don't even use them. Wow...what a kid I was.
Well, as more time has passed, we moved yet again. Farther this time, a new city. Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It was about 30-40 minutes away from Brantford so I hardly got to see my friends or relatives. It was winter days too. We lived in an apartment yet again, but with 3 rooms. It was better than 2 I guess. New city, new school, new friends - so that's what I did. I met new friends. In the halls of the building, me and my sister and our friends would play Marco Polo or Chinese Jump Rope which I learned by them! I still know how to do it too ;). But you know our family, we always move - AND that's what we did. This time, not only did we move because we didn't like it there, every so often in the apartment we were living in, I could hear strange noises. Clapping Shoes...walking. Pretty fucking scary.
So, where did we move next? OH, Brantford! Back to Brantford, baby! Not with my grandparents though, but in another apartment. It was shitty. We lived there for like 1-2 years too. It was not great. Also went to a new school. I skipped the first few days because I was sick of making new friends. But when I did start going to school, I learned to like it a lot. People actually came up to me and were like (still in the winter) want to play in the snow? Go on the monkey bars? Slide on the ice? Play over there? Haha, it went on, and all I said was 'No thanks'. I was tooooo shy!
So, I learned to love that school and the people. I actually had a great time. And the best part of this all was that I was moving! With all the money now saved, Mom got a new job she loved, and Dad actually made plans for building a new house. So, that's what we did. I even still have the blueprint. Building a new house in a new subdivision. I love it here. Still living here. And I plan to for a while, though in some ways, I wanted to move to a new city. Sometimes I wanted to start fresh again. I don't know why, but maybe just one last time?
